Jason Mario Dydynski

I was on the Moore High School Speech and Debate team for just one year during my senior year, but it was enough to help build the team and earn a scholarship to the University of Oklahoma’s speech and debate program.

At OU, I completed my bachelor’s degree in just three years, including a year abroad in Estonia. After that, I stayed in Estonia to earn a Master’s in Semiotics at the University of Tartu. While there, I taught a public speaking course called “Communicating Science,” aimed at helping PhD students present their research to broader audiences. I also taught at the Baltic Defence College, a military university serving high-ranking leaders from across Eastern Europe. After completing my degree, I continued teaching presentation skills at the Estonian Art Academy for four more years.

I got my PhD in Semiotics and Cultural Studies, focusing on how cuteness is perceived in animals and animal characters.

During my time in Estonia, I worked in digital marketing for a range of SaaS companies. I lived in Estonia for eight years, spent two years in Finland, and one year in Greece. During my studies I worked in digital marketing and content creation, and am currently working for a karaoke app called Singa. I recently moved back to the U.S. and currently live in Newport Beach, California with my husband and our dog.
