Kaleb Ochoa
Hey, my name is Kaleb Ochoa, and I was apart of the Moore Speech and Debate team for 3 years (2022-2025). Currently, I’m attending Purdue University to study Aerospace Engineering to hopefully become a rockets engineer one day. During high school, I was an all honors/AP student who graduated 3rd in the class while also being a part of over 10 clubs. Outside of Moore High, I was student body president of Moore Norman Technology Center and was a regional officer in the state organizations. In Speech and Debate, I had a late start joining my sophomore year, but I was able to still accomplish a lot like being a 3x national qualifier and ranking 2nd in the state in my main event of Fex.
I’ve been all over the country for both school and personal related travel. Phoenix, Austin, Des Moines, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Washington D.C., Orlando, South Padre Island, Chicago, and Indianapolis are just a handful of the places that I’ve had the privilege to travel to. Getting to see so much of the country and being exposed to all kinds of global news has helped shape my perspective on the world. I would not be the person I am today if not for this exposure, much of which came from Speech and Debate.
