FAQ

Absolutely. Many students balance debate with sports, theater, jobs, and other commitments. Students choose which tournaments to attend based on their schedule.

Both. Students can take it as a regular class during the school day (recommended) and also participate in after-school practices. Tournaments typically take place on weekends.

Students can practice during the school day if they choose to enroll in the speech and debate class (highly encouraged), but team practice occurs after school in the debate classroom.

Minor costs include dues, tournament attire, and team meals. Our booster club helps offset expenses. Contact Coach K for specific details.

The school provides transportation via van or bus. Students meet and return to Moore High School. Parents can drive separately, but most kids enjoy the team travel time.
